Although the majority of their work is based in Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire they are happy to provide their services anywhere in the South East of England including London.
Nick is a chartered town planner and has worked in both the public and private sector and has extensive experience of a wide variety of planning matters. This ranges from small scale proposals such as house extensions to larger more complex developments including commercial, retail, education and housing developments.
His experience of working for local authorities in Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire gives Nick a detailed understanding of how best to maximise the scope for obtaining the planning permission you desire. Nick also has extensive experience working on strategic planning matters such as promotion of individual sites for housing. As well as being a member of the Royal Town Planning Institute Nick holds a postgraduate diploma in Town and Country Planning, an Honours Degree in Environmental Science and an HND in Land Administration.
Bill has a broad experience in many different construction disciplines having worked in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering and Fire protection Engineering before finding his passion in Architecture. It was in this initial stage of his career that Bill gained his HND and City and Guilds qualifications in Building Studies and Computer Aided Design.
He then emigrated to Australia where he spent the first two years honing his practical knowledge on site as a carpenter / builder. He then returned to the office environment as a designer for various Architectural Practices around Melbourne. His design flair was able to flourish being responsible for many unusual and interesting projects including million dollar beachfront properties. It was in Melbourne that Bill first set up on his own as ‘Lascelles Design’ prior to returning to England to join forces with Nick as Griffin Lascelles Associates
